With a basic website set up, we are ready to pick up some speed. But what exactly is it we are doing and how? Or even why are we doing it? There is a plan, and there is no plan. It’s an infuriating thing to say. What is that supposed to mean?

Ultimately, our drive is to make games and animation with a strong focus on immersive storytelling. But with little time, resources, and in some cases skill, taking the highway to this end would prove to be a disaster. We would most likely crash, roll several times over, and burn as much as a RoastMe thread on Reddit. A slower pace would surely help. However, it would become incredibly frustrating for those trying to keep up with us, as they would expect us to go a certain speed. We’d be building up hype on things which could take a very long time to come.
With this in mind, we are slowly going up a very long and low-key road instead.
Sometimes it just is a good idea to Drive Miss Daisy, you know?
The plan is to keep working on things and experimenting until they feel right. Eventually, no pressure as to when, and no precise idea of how, something beautiful will come out of it. Well, hopefully something fun first and foremost. But beautiful too.
I continuously employ the pronoun we when in fact, at the time of writing, this is all just me. Archie. Enthusiastically flinging ideas left and right making a bit of a mess in a sandbox and wondering how to make things work and if anyone else is going to hop in.
For now our playground is going to be Multi Theft Auto and Minecraft.
Multi Theft Auto is an application that enables online multiplayer gameplay in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Our planned gamemode, Multi Theft Stories, aims to stay true to the single-player experience and the GTA formula while expanding on it and creating a new vibe of its own.
In Minecraft the plan is to have survival economy servers for both the vanilla game and a custom mod pack that is easy to install and play. While by no means an RPG in terms of gameplay, extensive worldbuilding (pun intended) will be done.
These projects are the grounds on which we will build our community, as well as knowledge and experience we will carry over to new endeavors. This time I refer to we as everyone who chooses to engage with Atmostage’s development at any point. You are welcome to do so.

Things won’t turn out like this, we promise.
